My attempt at Marooned. Pedal: Boss ME-50 Recorded and mixed in Ardour Backing track taken from backingtracks(dot)com For those who have asked about pedal settings, I can't remember exactly but it was something like this: tone=mild, distortion=rat, at around 30% drive half sustain a little bit of flanger hall reverb 100%, delay feedback at 30%(should have used more) pedal in +1 octave mode

Hey There, I have been a big fan of this guitar solo for a really long time. So earlier this week I decided to learn it. Its not really that difficult, but the thing that makes it great is how beautiful it sounds. David Gilmour is an absolute genius for composing this gorgeous solo. Its melodic and full of emotion. It is undoubtably one of the greatest guitar solos of all time, and I really hope I do justice to it. I basically tried to do the solos as close to the original as I could. However, I did get a little creative with effects. For the cleans, I used reverb, delay, chorus, and phase. For the leads, I had reverb, delay, chorus, and Distortion.
